ULTRA REALISM

The art that I have been able to produce has always been more of a comic book, cartoon, graffiti driven style. It allows you to move from piece to piece without getting tied down to one image for two long. However, I do fully appreciate the artist that have that special talent that allows them to make an exact copy of what they see. I have never been able to do it. The patients required is extrem. Hour after hour can be spent one one eye ball, one eye lash, the corner of a mouth. The things that make us unique as human beings are the minute details of facial features, the ripples across knuckles, a freckle here or there.... To capture all of that in a painting is amazing. I google images of ultra realism paintings and I pasted them below. Don't let your eye fool you not a single one of them is a photograph... 64
