July 5th.... On this Day in Hip-Hop History RUNDMC dropped the classic walk this way. I remember as grommit watching MTV and Steven Tyler busting threw the wall with the mic in his hand. Looking back on the video and the song it certainly feels like it was a corporate brain storm, but who cares, the record was Legendary.. I was thinking of some blog post material and the "This Day in Hip-Hop" concept dawned on me. However, like all good ideas, some one already has it on lock.. Check it out:

Also, this is more than a side note, Nas dropped it was written... This was around the time i was moving from tapes to CDs, so I actually remember treating this disc with kit gloves.
